FORT SCOTT, Kan. -- Fort Scott Community College Greyhounds sophomore guard James Fleming has signed a National Letter of Intent to play with Fort Hays State University.
James started in all 32 games for the Greyhounds and averaged 14 points per game along with averaging five rebounds per game.

HAYS, Kan. -- The Pittsburg State University baseball team plated a pair of runs in the top of the 10th inning to claim a 9-7 victory over seventh-ranked University of Central Missouri in the third and deciding game of a first round MIAA Tournament series Sunday (May 5) at Larks Park.
The win sends the Gorillas (28-22) to the final four of the MIAA Tournament at Community America Ballpark in Kansas City, Kan., while the Mules (35-11) must now wait for NCAA regional fields to be announced.
